Scouts - Brigg Scouts have been awarded a grant of £564 by the town council.

The money will be used to provide a new front door for the group’s Elwes Street headquarters.

Seniors club - Members of Brigg Senior Citizen’s Club enjoyed three outings over the summer.

Despite fears of bad weather, the first to Bridlington went well.

The trip to Skegness happened to be in the middle of the July heatwave, though sea breezes at the famously bracing seaside town helped ensure everyone enjoyed their day out.

Overall, numbers were down for this year’s trips.

Members of the luncheon club are reminded that the White Horse is still giving a discount on food purchased at lunch time on Wednesdays.
