Louth man to appear in court over alleged fracas in Aldi
James Kevin Bavin, 41, of Swallow Drive, was charged following the alleged incidents at the Aldi supermarket in Louth, on April 6.
Following the alleged theft of confectionary, Bavin is also alleged to have assaulting three men “with intent to resist or prevent the lawful apprehension” of himself.

Hide AdHe also faces a charge of criminal damage to a glass panel belonging to the Aldi supermarket.
Bavin was due to appear at Skegness Magistrates’ Court on May 10, but failed to do so due to illness and he will appear at the court next Tuesday (May 31) instead.
He was granted conditional bail until that date, and he must not contact any of the three alleged assault victims .
He is also prohibited from entering the Aldi supermarket in Louth.
