Maltby: Firefighters have busy weekend

Firefighters in Maltby have had a busy weekend dealing with a car fire and a road accident.

Crews were called to a car fire on Kingsforth Road in Thurcroft around 8.10am on Saturday morning.

They were at the scene around 15 minutes extinguishing the fire.

In the early hours of Sunday morning, firefighters were called to an accident on Tickhill Road in Maltby.

Crews cut the roof to release two people trapped inside the vehicle, who were then taken to hospital for treatment.
