Racist assault charge against 12-year-old boy is withdrawn
A 12-year-old boy from Louth, who faced charges of assault and racially-aggravated assault, has had both charges withdrawn in court.
The two charges were withdrawn at Boston Magistrates’ Court on March 12 after the case was dealt with through the ‘Youth Restorative Intervention’ scheme.
The boy cannot be named for legal reasons.
