Warning issued over boiler scam
A resident has alerted Boston Borough Council to a telephone con after she received a phone call from a company selling replacement central heating boilers.
The caller claimed that the borough council would be enforcing boiler replacements in 2016 and tried to convince the woman that she would be required to change her boiler.
The phone was put down on her when she asked for the company’s name and address.

Hide AdTh authority has said there is no such scheme and the council is not and will not be enacting any kind of boiler replacement enforcement across all households.
