Staff at Woodthorpe Garden Centre were on hand to present more than £1,000 to help the work of a cancer charity.

General manager Philip May handed over £1,044 to Lillian Eaton, co-ordinator of Lilli Aid, a local society that is dedicated to raising funds for Cancer Research UK.
